Yes like Spain, they won euro 2008, WC 2010 then euro 2012, 3 trophies in a row. I think Spain are favourites for WC 2026.

There are parallels to Indian Cricket Team with Spain as National Football Team. Like Spain India is the most technically gifted team, also in terms of trophies won.

 

Spain won 3 trophies between 2008-2012 then a barren spell until Euro 2024.

Spain 1st trophy was in Euro 1964.

 

India won 3 ICC trophies between 2007-2013 then a barren spell until T20 WC 2024. India 1st ICC trophy 1983 WC.

Since there is no Copa America thread, I may post the results here. Argentina won against Colombia in the second overtime when Martinez scored the only goal of the match. Argentina has won the cup a record 16th time. Messi was replaced because of injury in the second half

That game was fine but my oh my. These 3rd world Colombians destroyed the stadium. Escalators broke. Indian cricket crowd seems ten times more civilized than these morons.

Disagree. The Indian crowd behaves only because the policemen carry sticks. If sticks were absent, our crowd is quite capable of being uncivilized.
