Recently Kohli in an interview said England had the worst crowds who would always boo opponents, make condescending remarks...but they have this nice image. He said Aussies enjoy bantering more and they also appreciate good cricket.

Power of propaganda where English are always the good guys. Fact is they are always uncivilized, even in Euros their fans have the worst behavior, in Olympics also they will find excuses to riot on the streets of Paris.

His response was awesome. Honestly, he could've just called them Hooooooooooooooo ... ligans. I'll bet that he is going to ride this disrespect to his 25th title.

I am not a big fan of his, but he is the GOAT. Also seems to be a good guy - he has done a lot for little kids in his war-torn country. I can nderstand where his distrust of authority comes from.

Haven't watched a second of this Wimbledon, may be different if any 2 of Sinner, Alcaraz, Nole face each other towards the end.

Saw the controversy about boos on reddit and checked some videos. Horrible, horrible crowd, booing and disrespecting an all time great despite no provocation. Sadly, Nole has had to endure this thuggish behavior for 20 years, and then like snakes trying to cover it up or brush it aside. Glad Nole called them out publicly. These same Brits look down upon South Asians, Chinese, South Americans, Arabs, African crowds calling them all sorts of names. When truth is these British crowds are way worse, racist assholes. WASPS and Anglicans are the worst racists, with superiority complex.....they did the same to Ivan Lendl in the 80s, all driven by jealousy.

An all time great in the finishing stage of his illustrious career, a nice bloke (though deliberately misunderstood), just enjoy his game, may not even play next year!!!!

Saw some SM comments and Westerners are justifying the vitriol saying they did this because he is unvaccinated (still going on with this BS in 2024 @Real McCoy), or his political beliefs, or how he isn't a nice person like Roger/Rafa. Makes no sense.

The comments justifying based on his vaccination status is another layer of covering they have for what they really want to express about Nole. They don't like Nole because he is not Rafa or Roger that's it. Many rafa fans have jumped on alcaraz boat these days  But that is a story for another day.

Nole captured the english crowd in their act and explained it quite well in the end. Maybe blunt but it takes the courage to do it right in front of them. In that clip, you could hear them booing at the end after Nole has finished speaking. i watched the match but didn't wait for the conference. It was too late for me.

They cover it up like how they did during the match or with other covers like vaccination status, smashing racquets, "not in the spirit of tennis", yelling at team, yelling at spectators, etc. They are hypocrites like any other.

They were all good till he was joker. Then he started speaking about body autonomy.

Yeah that was during prime Fedal years. They would accept him as a joker in the lineup not someone who threatens the status quo. Once he started doing that, he became enemy no 1. The vaccine refusal became overblown because of two things - 1. pushback from the world govts - Aus and USA in this case. 2. western fan hatred got its new avenue to give cover

DeMinaur pulls out due to hip injury. Novak in the SF

Top-seed Sinner goes down too. It's upto Alcaraz or Medmedev now. Not sure of Musetti/Fritz . They will be overwhelmed playing the chamption in the SFs.

musetti it is/ I dont think he will be any match for djokovic. hoping for the last year's wimbledon finalists to make the finals. medvedev making the final would be such a flop

Rematch, Djokovic vs Alcaraz final, may end up watching lol. Saw few minutes of Alcaraz vs Medvedev yesterday.

Alcaraz is much younger, fitter, faster, more firepower, better player, should win.

If Nole wins, he'll be the oldest ever grand slam champion beating the Aussie legend Rosewall. Stacks against him, hasn't been good this year and fitness/age concerns....but one thing in his favor will be Centre Court crowd against him, siege mentality Nole is a different beast, he'll use that negativity to bring out the best in him.

Want Nole to get past that hag Margaret Court's overall record of 24 majors.

Nole can go past Sampras and tie Federer in terms of number of Wimbledons won. Also his 10th final here, 37th final overall, what a well rounded career :hatsoff:

Spanish supremacy

Could be double joy for them on Sunday, Wimbledon champion as well as Euros champion.

Less invested in tennis (like both guys !!!), but please don't lose to the English in Euros

I dozed off in the middle of the match yesterday. Medvedev had no answers to Alcaraz after the first set. Once Alcaraz found his rhythm, there was no stopping him. I suppose the same would hold true for Sunday though I expect a tighter contest than yesterday. Don't really care who wins but for the sake of tennis' future, I would want the younger Alcaraz to win and cement his place as the next big thing. He is already. This wimby will be another step in the right direction for him and the rest of the young gen like Sinner. I do care what happens in the Euros. Hope Spain reconquista England and beat the poms black and blue

Major dilemma for the Brits. They'll want to celebrate Djokovic loss but can't enjoy because their soccer team got beat.

Alcaraz should crush this version of Nole, maybe 4 sets if he loses concentration early on.

For a 21 year old his game is so complete, better than 21 year old versions of Big 3 (except Nadal on clay of course).

Such a damp squib in the end. Then I realized that Djokovic is returning from a surgery. I don't think Djokovic could have threatened Alcaraz even if he didn't undergo surgery. Alcaraz is the real deal hopefully Sinner steps up to the plate to begin a new rivalry. We are deeply in need of new rivalries to keep tennis transition from the big 3. We are witnessing the twilight of the big 3 with Djokovic flopping (now twice) in Wimbledon. Djokovic reaching 25 GS wins really looks bleak with the next gen stepping up.

The power of youthful exuberance winning over frailing  experience. If Nole can reach the top in a Grand Slam event , he can push it till another couple of years or so. US open next.

Country of 5 crores, producing many tennis champions and winning WCs/Euro. Amazing :congrats:

They have the money, the diet and the weather advantage - and a very good pedigree in sport. Nothing compared to Aus or NZ though. They are the true sporting giants IMO.

Navigating the world of online casinos can be tricky, especially for newcomers. To ensure you avoid fraudulent sites, start by checking reviews from multiple sources and looking for licenses from reputable authorities like the Malta Gaming Authority or the UK Gambling Commission. Reputable casinos often have transparent terms and conditions and use SSL encryption to protect your data. One site worth exploring is https://mostbets-sri-lanka.com/promo-code/, which offers detailed information on Mostbet’s casino and sports betting options for Sri Lankan players. While they don't host games themselves, their insights can be invaluable for finding trustworthy platforms. Always remember to gamble responsibly and look for sites that promote fair play and have positive user feedback.
