I am an Indian citizen and have no interest in outcome of this election beyond what is in the best interest of my country. Trump is what serves better for us. As for US, hope it descends one way or another.

What is democratic about Kamala being on the ticket? She had 10 votes in the primaries and went to be selected by Biden as VP. He didn’t drop out initially and went about for 2nd term and he was unopposed. Conveniently drops out after making sure there are no opponents to her and she gets to be pre candidate with no public approval. US has no right to preach democracy to the rest of the world. At least Trump had some support base white or super-white!

You don't need to finish second to be elected as VP. Most of the time it will be based on a strategy. Obama picked Biden because he was appealing to upper midwest states.  Politics is politics. Be it is India or USA.  She got the support of 85% of the delegates.  What does it matter. Trump was not even a republican when he ran on the ticket as he knew he would get his clock cleaned if he ran as an independent candidate.

So what is the need of primaries? Just get the damned corrupt delegates to vote for you and force that choice on the public who will vote on party lines no matter who is the candidate. US democracy is such a sham

Primaries are only for President pick. This is an unusual scenario where President drops out due to health reasons.  THe only replacement fo rincumbent preisdent is vice president if he drops out. She got 85% of the delegate support. Nobody raised any objection. THey have taken the risk. If they don't win she will feel the wrath.

There was enough clamoring for Biden to drop out last year. Media and his coterie kept pushing the narrative that he’s fine . Even after the first debate , CNN had some experts who said he was very presidential. Most wanted him dropped out so they could go for primaries. Now, with all the campaign funds , she was the redact candidate for money reasons.

Its turning into 1990s Bihar election. Difference is SM will say that its Trumps men who shot Trump.

 

I will be surprised if he survives till nxt election. Can someone ask Biden, Kamala and Democrats about why under them, assassination attempt is happening on opposition candidate? And when was last time in US history, muktiple attempt on life of candidate has happened

US election has turned into biggest joke. Name another country in West where such things happen. Forget West, even in non Western democracies (If we Pakistan a democracy) only they are the one where attack happens on Head of State candidate
