There is no right or wrong answer.

Each decision is subjective and depends on the conditions prevelant at the time. In the 1950s the uk offered the best path to soldiers who fought in the second world war. In the 1990s techies found the usa to be the best avenue. To kids from haryana and punjab its all about canada cause they can find home away from home and become citizens.

The 90s to early 00s cohort are a case in point. Got green cards on h1b before the system clogged up. But also are the first real wave to the usa who are seeing elderly parents in India struggling. Too old to fend for themselves.Their kids are fully American.

True. Most of my friends who stayed back at the time when I left, all are doing much better career-wise as the growth potential is much better in India. They are as well-off or even better than my QoL . I think the rate at which people are leaving India might be lowest or those coming back is better than anytime in the past. Only Andhrites  and Gujjus are desperate to come to USA, I think.

7% quota per country was created to maintain diversity. H1B was abused massively by some group of people in India with fake certificates, fake interviews. If they use first come first served rule 100% annual quota will be used by Indians alone. Even chinese will struggle.  The real problem stems from the fact there is no proper H1B vetting.

Trump is winning this.  Democrats depend on turn outs. Israel issue will drive voters away from Democrats. So much so a muslim mayor has endorsed Trump.  They have this imagination somehow Republicans will force Israel to stop the war in Gaza.

All depends if Kamala can hold on to Blue wall swing states - PA, MI and WI. If Trump gets either one of these 3 states, he will go past 272 .

Biden beat Trump in Michigan by 154000 votes or so. This was when Trump had mishandled COVID and he was indicted.  Now with muslim votes alone 150000. That number will go down this time for Kamala. There are many Indians not happy with how they handled Israel conflict. THey won't vote. Even blacks are divided on this issue. So chunk of votes will be lost. If she loses to some third party candidate she can squeak through. Imagine half those votes go to Trump. Besides Kamala's popularity has never been measured truly. Last time she exited way early. This time came through back door.  It is going to be a perfect storm for her. Above all a woman will never be elected in USA as president.

Do you have any proof other than conspiracy theories that US installed puppet regime?  We create our own narrative and aske veryone to believe based on pretty much no evidence. Why doesn't India handle it directly if India cares about "Hindus" around the world.
