Appreciate Arshdeep in this thread

Really liked his bowling yesterday.

 

Arshdeep has hit the bat harder anf higher in this World Cup and is less floaty than earlier.  I wanted to see him develop this. This has helped him.a lot.  

 

Tall, accurate, steady pace in the mid 130s and hitting the bat high from a left arm angle.

You know what my memory of him will be. His absolutely amazing high jump to stop the shot of maharaj in the last ball of his 19th over. Kept the equation at 16 off the last over. That last ball was actually a free hit for maharaj as miller would have taken the strike anyways. And Maharaj can hit well..it was pure skill

Large number of Delhi sikhs also speak Hindi more than Punjabi. Gujarat as a state has more right on him than Punjab. But ethnically he is Punjabi and that matter the most

Punjabi is not an ethnicity,for eg punjabi jats look different from other castes.It's more to do with language and culture.
