(a) Without true home fields, a presence in the particular city you represent, how do you get the locals on-board? Playing in neutral fields does not generate any excitement or loyalty (I get it, TSK can probably say Prairie Ridge is theirs, but none of the other 5 have that presence) (b) Do they at least have "offices" in the towns that they are supposedly representing? (c) Do they have relationships with local municipalities to market the teams - even if it is only to the expats in those cities - so they can get some loyalty? I highly doubt they are doing any of this. It's just a bunch of guys getting paid due to TV money plus a few 1000 people showing up to get access to international stars who may not otherwise be accessible. No one really cares about rooting for "MI NY" or "Washington Freedom" or "TSK"They care about Pollard and Pooran and Travis Head and Rashid Khan, or they care about MI and CSK, so they root for NY and TSK.
