If we make winning a habit, this kind of OTT reaction will die down. 17 years drought, 11 years since ICC trophy, continuous KO heartbreaks since 2014, these are the reasons so many have turned up.

Aussies win trophies regularly, if they have a 10 years drought, even their fans will go wild when they finally break the jinx.

Understandable, came after 12 years gap.

After that so consistent with ICC trophies

2003 WC

2006 CT

2007 WC

2009 CT

2015 WC

2021 T20 WC

2023 WTC

2023 WC

Their fans must be bored now.

Indians Cricketers know how to get their fans so desperate for a Trophy, give the Indian fans consistent heartbreaks and only one trophy every 10-15 years so that when it happens Fans will go crazy and consider the victory a miracle.

Some delusional people compare Olympic with cricket in India. The fact is no matter how many gold you win people are hardly going to care.

Neeraj, Sindhu, hockey team, all got splendid reception. And check Mirabai Chanu's reception in Imphal.
