It's more fun watching Kohli anchor us to a par score and blame everyone else other than him for the loss!

Core t20 team- abhishek and ishan have developed their game kinda customised for T20.

abhi scored 52 off 21 balls and we were like 20 runs ahead of our opposition at that time itself...i mean we had scored some 25 runs more than what opposition would score in first 6 overs. then ishan scored 54 off 25 . sanju had to kinda get into his aggressive best as abhi and ishan are very explosive and from my perspective both these guys ( abhi and ishan) are not at all selfish

Tbh, Kohli was more than just an anchor. Also he didn't have such a strong support cast around him. This team may go and do wonders, but that doesn't take anything away from Kohli and his legacy in this format. For his era, Kohli was the gold standard, and he towered over his peers.

I am referring to present day Kohli vs present generation of T20 batters. He had his time in the format, was an ATG but is past it. There was no need to mock current batters, which was the purpose this thread.

It the approach they played t20 the way it should have been played, was there a perfect game apart frm vs pak and the finals no but that is t20 cricket margin are v.v.small.

 

Ind needed to win all their 4 matches to win the cup, any single drop and they were out of it , and they responded with score of 250+ , ~200 (in a chase), 250+ and 250+.

 

3 250+ score in must win games and 1 near 200 while chasing
