Looking at above list of the 9 test matches instead of 4 we should have won 7. Trentbridge was washed out. It was an easy chase with wicket flattened out. But rain came to rescue. In south africa we let them chase over 200 twice. The only bonafide losses were  headingley and the elgar master class. Also dont forget even in the previous tour of Aus we won 2 tests and should have won Sydney. So overall its not a suprise anymore we are winning.. i m more worried about india playing at home now where our superstars cant play spin and rely on a debutant wicket keeper to bail them out twice..

These are the last few Test series that are ever going to matter. Savour it.  

 

Asking for 3 Test series from Windies , Saffers etc. is simply not practical anymore 

 

Last time we had a 3 Test match series not involving a Big 3 team was back in 2018/19 PAK tour of SA.

 

SA are playing only 2 against Big 3 now.  Windies will play 3 only against England .

 

NZ will look to cut down even Big 3 tours at least at home to 2 Tests. 

 

BGT is a rare bilateral that has been increased from 4 to 5.

Sadly law of averages will play a part. Just can't see us winning g another one down under. It will be a 3-2 loss but anything is possible I guess if we make right selection calls.

Wish they could have a 5 test series between WI & Aus on spicy pitches like they had in early 90s.... that Lara / Steve Waugh / Mcgrath series was epic

Cause coolie left and we actually had a proper coach and players hitting their primes. 

 

Also bowling was under strength however thakur and siraj were at their peak fitness. Bowling 135 to 143 consistently.

Eng touring Pak for 3 games this October though.

I reckon English test tours are still profitable to host nations..

Reckon SA is also hosting them for 4 tests in FTP.

With due respect he has won us 2 SENA tests with his batting in last 4 years.  No one even Pant Kohli Rohit has won us 2 SENA Tests.. Pakistan has nlt won a SENA Test in last 10 years with all its bowlers. Dont confuse formats like our selectors..

In the middle order for tests? I guess so. But please so not ever play him in ko games or finals. Wtc final if we make it. Some players just don't have it.
