Great news! We want someone like Gambhir with the team 

 

However, I do wish Jay Shah sticks to governance and not start nominating captain ahead of the time. Let Gambhir handle that along with the selectors, and let Gambhir build the team. He can't do that if captain is already announced for years out in the future.

Forget KKR. It had a strong horses for courses team. I more interested in what he achieved during his 2 years in LSG. I m not sure but can anyone point out his impact or positives. I can think of Mohsin Badoni. Nothing else comes to mind..

Only contribution of Rathore other than keeping his trademark beard coloured black is to get tailenders bat well in test matches.. india actually won 2 tests against england purely due to the tailenders..

Doing announcements, convening selection meeting, cricket scheduling is the job of secretary.  Secretary is the communicator.
