Kohli is best in his generation.

 

Sachin was best in his generation..no one had a combo of avg 40+ & SR of 85+ in ODI's...Sachin had that.

 

Lara, Ponting none went close. If he had a better bowling attack...things would have been way better.

The reason is the their game, Kohli plays a low risk game and depends on running between the wickets more than his power game.Sachin had a better power game than Kohli. That is why I feel Kohli would be just fine in 2027 too if he has form, his game translates more in odis than T20s.

 

Think about it Sachin had better bowling attacks . He had atleast Kumble and then Bhajji who are far better than any whiteball spinners which Kohli had during his tenure.Plus with great Bhuvi and the spinners in Jadeja and Ashwin.

 

Sachin's teams were much more balanced.

not true. kohli had the best asian pace attack of all time in odi. we know he is the goat asian test captain and the 3rd greatest captain overall in terms of stats for tests but he had a gun pace attack. spinners perhaps yes kumble was better but not bhaji

You cant rant here without any proof, show me how Kohlis innings was the reason we lost 2023 WC and compare it to others, show me How Bumrah performed well in knockouts before this t20 wc

Show me when has Kohli upped his game when it matters. 2015 WC SF, 2017 CT final, 2019 SF when he couldn't even chase 240 at his peak, 2023 WC final is big enough sample size. Then we have 2 WTC finals and there too not a single notable innings. You can blame bowling all you want but bowlers need some support from their premier batsmen. They received none.

Some morons have no understanding of the game. Travis Head performing well in not an indictment on Kohli but it is indictment on great bowler Bumrah.

 

If Bumrah and co keeps laying eggs against Travis Head which they did even in last t20 match against Australia, how is it fault of Kohli.

 

When Sam Curran or Matt Henry can win knockout matches with their bowling.Expecting the same from Bumrah is not a big deal.

 

Sam curran even won player of the series .
