There is one +ve aspect of it though.  NonPerforming seniors (mainly Kohli & KL) got terribly exposed against spin in SL.   Same thing happened here in this test series too.    This will build additional pressure on them to retire early Or get dropped. I know it wont be easy to drop them.  But the booting out of KL from the 2nd test gives me some hope.  

KL got booted but Brat wont from the looks of it, and of course Vada Pav is the captain so he'll linger.
