More than that, vegetarians don't even like to eat in same utensils/same kitchen where non veg is made. Will be interesting how parents react.

Vegetarianism isn't that popular in South so hopefully not a issue. Also we hear they are more civilized and educated than Naaaarth.

Only issue might be among Brahmins but then again Government schools are for marginalized people and their kids needs utmost help when it comes to quality nutrition.

I usually don't give much credit to South Indians but at least they do stuff right when it matters..

This is a 2018 data of aanganwadis@Gollum

There is hope left for this country

Apart from reduced public health burden, prerequisite to becoming a sporting powerhouse is small, baby steps like these.

For BJP states like Chattisgarh, turmeric plus rice (no veggies), chad Congress showing them the way forward.

North have some genetic advantages and climate plays it's part... For eg Neeraj Chopra is a Ror Jat which have highest steppe MLBA among all  South Asian communities.

South is definitely more developed than north and I hate to say this.

Kerala and TN have insanely higher HDI index than any North Indian state..  Bihar and UP are rivaling Sub Saharan Africa.

Living standards matter.

Punjab, Haryana have protein rich diet. Insane amounts of high quality dairy consumption even by their vegetarians.

These two states carry Indian sports.

It's a good start. But they should at least double this:

Recommended daily allowance of protein = 0.8 g/kg body weight/day.

So, a 25 kg kid (that's a small kid) will need 20 g of protein PER DAY.

6 eggs a week is 30 g of protein PER WEEK or 4.3 g per day.

There's still a huge gap. I get that there are other sources and meals, but unless those are also monitored, this will make a very small difference. Still a good start.

Again with your ignorance about Steppe!! Not getting into that debate. Steppe right across the border in Pakkabi and Pashtuns have no impact of same DNA in sports

HDI is better is south because all industries were established in the south since Nehru days. North India had no industries and had to live through turmoil of partition and wars till 70s, then through terrorism in 80s. South was relatively peaceful and that reflects in HDI. Kerala HDI is a hogwash, they have no jobs or industry relying outsiders for economic reasons and even health.

This is pure ignorance on your part... Matter of fact is those points you mention only solidify my argument in the end ... In the end South has much much better HDI than North.

Pashtuns not being Better at sports has a lot to do with the cultural and political stability of the region.  Still Afg has a better Cricket team than BD with virtually no cricketing infra available.

Also Sri Lanka has highest HDI in South Asia and higher than even TN... They were poised to be South Korea of South Asia ( they f** d up that's another matter) Presence of industries is not only factor.

Kerala has super high HDI just like Lanka.

If you are dog whistling about me, I am happy about kids served eggs  and I even applauded it it another thread. Kar had already started to serve eggs even during BJP time is rural areas. You are hearing about it only now because LKFC and Congress media is Tom-toming about it.

I am only arguing about your Steppe knowledge and Kerala HDI. HDI doesn’t mean squat if Kerala exports all its graduates and have to travel to Mangaluru for health care

Kazakhs and Central Asia have better HDI than every South Asian country.  Living standards and economic stability and viability is a different metric.

You don't seem to get that.

Visit Kerala and Bihar and you will get the difference.

These two states have least amount of lactose intolerance while 60-70% india is lactose intolerant that is why people their can easily digest milk and get good amount of protein.
