Joe Root has more 73 test wickets that too playing mostly on seaming wickets.He wouhave taken more than 200 international wickets if he played 450 plus odis too.

 

Root is excellent slip catcher  and one of the best slip fielders. He already has most number of catches .

Root just like Sanga and Kallis has very simple repeatable technique with very few moving parts. Plays ball late under his nose and that is also one of main reasons why he has not been at his best in Australia.
