What an irony of Ind cricket local league bowlers are bowling at same pace as the Ind intnls.

 

Add some Ind intnl batters in next seasons to come this could be the top league

So Simarjeet is the fastest. Himanshu is mainly around 135-136. Rohit Yadav is second fastest till now.

Selectors probably don't know if he exists even.. I am surprised that  Himanshu got picked though still no chance he will start in playing XI.

Simarjeet reminds me a lot of Rahul Shukla.
He too was quick, and used to get that late movement which Simarjeet gets. Sad that Rahul Shukla's potential was wasted.

He is at the crossroads right now, just like Hangargekar & Tyagi.
His own state team don't play him, franchises don't back him. How the flunk these guys would show their potential.
They will play these leagues which no selector will even care for.

The issue is all these guys -Simarjeet, Tyagi, Sen etc.. have not played any kind of domestic to be selected.

Its either TM/selectors take a punt on these guys or play safe and select the domestic and tried test and recycled bowlers. 

 

Right now they seems to be taking safer path to select the tried/ tested -- low potential bowlers and hoping Shami and Bhumrah would carry then on in big tournaments.

As mentioned by others too that after  Shami and Bhumrah there is a big gap in ability and potential  of the bowlers selected so far by Ind TM and slectors.

 

Its time to invest in high potential bowlers but would they take that risk ???

Simarjeet was net bowler alongside Sai Kishore etc for India tour of SL in 2021.  That's the closest he has ever come to play for India.

Then Outta nowhere Avesh Mukesh jumped ahead.

Avesh and Mukesh are gems of Indian cricket..Simarjeet is nothing in front of them..the previous duo..makes all international battters hop and dance with the deadly bowling they do..no wonder selectors will keep them playing..

Yes some proper batters and fast bowlers fr a domestic league. Think fielding and spin bowling needs some uplifting.

But for domestic league seems to have everything, speedometers, drs. even contest between bat and bowl

Yes, Rohan Jaitley was saying they have tried to provide international level technology and facilities in this league.

Have been catching snippets of this league in the evening every now and then. The quality is pretty decent tbh, some good fast bowlers and spinners along with power hitters, didn't realise there is enough talent for half a dozen teams in Delhi alone. It's more watchable than the Karnataka PL.
