This kind of ignorance is surprisingly common across regions. People from one area may often know a little or sometimes almost nothing about the histories, cultures, languages, social dynamics, and lived realities of other regions. Such gaps in understanding are rarely the result of deliberate indifference. More often, they stem from limited exposure, regional media focus, education systems that prioritise local narratives, and social circles that remain geographically or culturally homogeneous. Over time, this creates information silos, where individuals develop a detailed understanding of their own region but only a superficial or stereotyped perception of others. Did he get hit for 6 6s or did he bowl a few no-balls? 2 overs for 59 are the worst bowling figures I've seen and for a fast bowler it's almost career-ending.
Need4Speed Posted February 28 Posted February 28 (edited) What a downfall..what a waste of express pace bowling capability..very sad Edited February 28 by Need4Speed

I would agree with you for most part . However J&k ki jitni baat news me aur normal discussion me hoti mixed with hyper nationalism over its ownership ,the least one would expect is to pay its due to the community that actually got j&k into the indian union ,if not for jammu there won't be a a j&k as a part of india and that history is common knowledge . I honestly don't know how to feel about it but the ignorance can sometimes be overwhelming to even respond to logically Ultimate_Game 1

Change of action means he's another 135-140 kph pacer...not the 150+ one whom we knew in 2021-22. Tyagi is another express pacer who've lost his pace due to change in action. Mayank hopefully has maintained his pace it seems, may he remain injury free. Ashok is another fast bowler who has made quick strides in past few months.

MK55 Posted February 28 Posted February 28 This is what happens when u try to overcorrect or deviate from your core strengths. It’s all over for him. Sometimes (in fact most times especially if you’ve had some success) what’s required is just a mental reset with small refinements and acceptance that not all things can be controlled every time. Try to overdo it and u make things worse.

This is how regional angst has always been across regions. Edited February 28 by Throwaib_Chuckter
