Got into the bad habit of eating sweets starting from Diwali, must get back to a more disciplined lifestyle.

It is the true 'precious' to those who really know.

Very hard to walk the path of Samwise Gamjee and not Gollum for precious.

Offcourse sweet (Indian or foreign) contributes significantly to Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, however it is highly prevalent in those who have a bad lifestyle.

The actual report of affected people is already alarming, yet there are many who are diabetic, but not accounted for as they do not undergo any diagnostic tests.

Type 1 is hereditary, don’t think lifestyle has nothing to do with it

Many diseases are hereditary and I guess diabetes is no exception. Those having history of diabetes in family, should be even more cautious of sugar in that case.

The lifestyle has a huge say in the well being of a person imo.

The amount of sugar in sweets or sugar based drinks is shocking. Even it is difficult to get a traditional ale pak now with less sugar in it.
