If you Ignore the India - Pakistan offensive comments, It was a somewhat decent thread and we had some light hearted discussions. I think if moderators deletes those posts will be good. Should be a little strict towards people who derails the thread.

We still didn't have quality bowlers back in 2016, Taskin was pretty new and Mash was occupying space with this military medium but he was a great leader, mustafiz had the mystery thing attached hence it worked for a while and later he was found out. In Test matches we had Rubel Hossain bowling at 70+ average, It's very refreshing to see fast bowers in Bangladesh. Now we need proper batsmen and some big hitters.

I think they had decent bowling then too. Mustafizur when he burst on to the scene was world class (in white-ball cricket). And I believe you had Taskin then with decent spinners, Shakib at his peak and decent batting in Tamim, Musfiqur, Shakib etc. IMO they were not able to handle making the jump. But looks like this lot is ready, and probably this can be B'desh's golden generation.

 

Very impressed by Nahid, and maturity shown by Liton, Mehidy, and Hasan Mahmud.
