Guys like Harshit or Akash Deep have very little experience in bowling 20 plus overs.

I would rotate Siraj and Bumrah every other home test. They both need to be match ready for Australia.Shami must be ready or India will have serious issues in Australia.

Akashdeep bowled 19 overs in his debut test vs England.
He has played 31 FC games. Not a small number.

I hope you are correct. He did not bowl single over in second innings. In one innings he bowled he looked exactly like these Pakistani trundlers who have played more FC matches than Akashdeep could not do anything after new ball effect was over.

Personally I am not sold on him.He runs out of gas after initial spells. He looked out of gas on second morning too.England scored from 115/6 to 353.

Imagine if it is Siraj, Akashdeep and Bumrah in Australia. If Shami is not fit.Bumrah will be overused and run to ground.

Plus our idiot captain Rohit has no clue on how to manage work load of fast bowlers. He over bowls them to death in spells where they bowl well.

I have no idea why BCCI agreed to 5 test series in Australia to be honest. It is too much work load for these fast bowlers, there will be no place to hide with Kookaburra ball.

Given what these people are doing to Hindus right now I hope we beat them.  By 'beat them', I mean humiliate them, preferably by an innings in all matches.

Why should they be treated any different than Pakistan?

Islamists are crazy everywhere but they also have an openly hostile government, even blamed India for recent floods. Taliban government appears to be more humane and sane!!!! And should we recognize this blatant regime change?

It would be a good gesture if ICFers boycott this series. Just my two cents.

Until a group of military trained Bangladeshi jihadis cross the Eastern border and indiscriminately kill Indian civilians on Indian soil, we can't really treat them the same as Pakistan.

Yes whatever is happening in their country to the Hindus over there is deplorable but at the end of the day , those are still Bangladeshi citizens who have nothing to do with us.

Play with black arm bands & take a knee for them before the game.

This will be a PR boost as well as highlight their plight to a whole new level.

At the end of the day world works on Perception and PR @Gollum

Not happening in a million years bro. Doubt any of the Indian cricketers or BCCI officials care about BD, or are following the events there.

They do shelter many North East terror groups. ULFA head has been in hiding in BD even during Hasina years.

Immigration due to religious persecution makes it our problem now.

Yep, even though India is billed as secular (and so is BD) it is a Hindu majority country with the largest Hindu population in the world. Any major issue associated with Hindus is India’s issue. If India does not speak for Hindus, irrespective of their nationality, on one else will and those people would be left to suffer because of a decision that their ancestors took.

Can we imagine Jews suffering and Israel going around as if it does not concern it? In fact, a Jew is welcome to become its citizen.

There is zero difference between Muslim jihadis and Hindu jihadis who murder innocent's for their diet or religious beliefs..both groups are evil incarnate.. if the world starts painting us ..the vast percentage of peaceful Hindus and Indians in the same brush due to the action of the crazy rabid faction of Hindus..we would all get besmirched by the action of few just like innocent Muslims are getting a bad rap for the action of the jihadis

Bangladesh cannot be taken lightly at all. Their new set of pacers are impressive as well. A couple of them are quick and tall and one of the newer ones swings the ball at reasonable pace too. I think Kohli may struggle. He hasn't played test cricket for a long time ( he skipped the England series as well) and has been on an extended break after the T20 WC.  Jaiswal looks Rusty and Rohit has been resting for a while as well. The bowling should be OK even without Bumrah and Shami but I can see a few nasty moments for the batsmen.
