This thread was missing it, finally here comes the commie talk. You are the most  fcuking casteist  here, throwing casteist slurs on posters, you have been warned and even banned before. If you can’t argue, you abuse using caste slurs. You talking about casteism is a big fcukung joke.

BG 7.15: Four kinds of people do not surrender unto Me—those ignorant of knowledge, those who lazily follow their lower nature though capable of knowing Me, those with deluded intellect, and those with a demoniac nature.

There is no point in getting worked up if someone is not into religion.

In fact, attacks on religion have been happening since time immemorial. Even during the time of Ramayana, when saints used to perform yagnas, some people (portrayed as devils) used to come to disturb them, throwing stones.

I agree, Science doen't agree with my faith. Not sure if it's science's limitation, coz we still haven't been able to capture the entirety of solar system and other galaxies.
We aren't that advanced, so it's an ever going process.

Are you telling that people in the past were so advanced they uncovered all knowledge through meditation under a tree? Back then, people frequently died from basic illnesses in their 20s or 30s, which modern science can now cure in minutes.

What's your extent of back ? Coz every area of the world starts at a different time frame.

If it's based on European history, then yes, they were backward enough.

Same Europeans who now preach of women freedom were burning women on the accusation of witchcraft for centuries even till 1500-1600 CE. While many sects of Vedas and Upnishads were written by women scholars which are maybe 5000 BC older (or maybe more than that, I don't have exact time frame in mind).

As per the "recorded history"...Sushrut who was born around 800 BC is called as "father of plastic surgery". I think we all know when modern science was able to do the plastic surgery.

We don't have records prior (atleast I am not aware of ) because a moron burned down our precious books and history just because his clan was living in tents under desert and was feeding off milk from Camels.

Get real - there is non-stop reference to "Dharma" in the Mahabharat and the war to re-establish "Dharma".....Dharma this, Dharma that, Dharma here, there, everywhere.

BTW pity Dharma never taught people not to spit red paan stuff on clean walls, that would be more practical than "Shambhavami yuge yuge".

Dharma means duty, not religion.

There is zero invocation of 'god told me to go fight the heretics/infidels' like you have in christianity or islam. No other religion has ever done this, except for one 30 year period under the Sassanids.

You know what no other religion except the abrahamics have done ? fight wars of religion against their own sects. Absolute total zero for rest of the religions on the planet for this count.

Trust a follower of deadbeat western dad western socialism ideology to think causality is evil and sinister, lol.

Proof #1 million that leftards in their western degeneracy cant deal with cause and effect at even esoterical level, let alone practical.

Life doesn't follow any cycles. It moves forward according to Darwinian evolution and natural selection. The ones who adapt will endure, while those who fail to adapt will eventually die out.

Long term societies do follow cycles. So does the planet earth itself with its ice age and iterglacial cycles. Thanks for implying that hinduism is far better than idiot dead-beat western dad socialism ideology, because its been there for far longer and growing in number, so implying better adaptability and established credential in evolutionary sense.

Cant * with the king crab or the shark when it comes to evolution - they have been here for hundreds of millions of years, pretty much more or less as a finished product ( getting bigger/smaller with size depending on global temperature and its relationship with the said species but thats it really), neither can you * with a cyanobacteria : ultra-fast evolution but also been around as a class for billions of years. Hinduism is the ideological version of a combination of these two - changing details but keeping same lore effectively and establishing credentials for a evolutionarily mature product.

Meanwhile, your euro-inspired less than 200 years old dead-beat dad ideology has already peaked and is losing appeal, as far as % of humanity is concerned as well as absolute numbers.

We can clearly see who here picks a more scientifically proven ideology :)

The punishment started with eating the apple - now once that is taken care of (fallen world etc) it goes back to what was going on before eating the apple. The road is Jesus. It sounds moronic (and the talking serpents etc) but understandable..... But never mind a learned Hindu like you would not understand.....

And after all the lectures of purification there is still no answer to what happens after "Moksha".

None of that is relevant to what i said. What i said is, the basic premise of abrahamic religions is WRONG. You get rewarded or punished with ETERNITY for a finite performance in a finite realm - as in your lifespan (whatver number you live to, even if you set world record, its STILL a finite number of years).
Ergo, the output of verdict says infinite consequences (good or bad) for finite actions.
That, by DEFINITION, cannot be a just outcome.

I dont care WHAT their story of 'why mankind *ed up and needs jesus' is true - talking snake, shiny apple, lucifer's satanic verses, whatever the cause is, the PREMISE is still finite input --->infinite consequence.  That, cannot be just in any sense of what the word 'just' is defined as.

As such, the concept of karmic cycle- true or false, is far more JUST, because it STILL is a finite result, for a finite deed, till the cycle is complete and one returns to the ultimate source, which is deemed as 'true neutral' scenario and not defined as good/bad either. Which, logically, makes more sense: fininite good/bad input -----> finite good/bad consequence output, loop repeats itself, till final iteration of 'neutral input---->neutral final result(moksha/nirvana etc).

This is basic logic, really.

PS: There is no real way to explain moksha without invoking mathematics at a theoretical level. Because premise of moksha is, your soul, which is fragment of the eternal super-soul 'godhead' (Brahmaan), finally returns and joins the eternal super-soul.
So this is a bit like asking 'what happens to x, when you put x inside an infinite set and create set ( x+∞). And even then, it remains at a certain theoretical level, because again, you are dealing with what happens to me once i join the inifinite. the answer to that, just like some questions re: infinity in mathematics, is quite complicated to understand and get but at the same time, not really unattainable either if you actually WANT to undestand the premise.

Coz its not fascist garbage nonsense masquerading as a religion, invoking continuous fear of this evil god and carrot of infinite reward type of total nonsense.

Science has pretty much uncovered the truths about life, history, the world and the universe. There's no separate timeline for different groups of humans. The universe began billions of years ago, leading to the formation of stars, planets and eventually life on Earth. Then Darwinian evolution took over to get where we are now, with early humans migrating out of Africa. They started as hunter-gatherers, moved through the agricultural revolution, the bronze age, the iron age and then organized religions began to dominate all over the world. Out of which emerged Science.

The claims made by religions, including yours, turned out to be false. Today, we are more intelligent, healthier and more knowledgeable than the early humans who created these religions.

Idiotic question.

Thats like asking when i am sad, do i go to a therapist or to a neurosurgeon.

My religion doesn't claim to be the curative authority of physical ailments. Stupid question really, further demonstrating your irrational stance.

Species homo sapiens has shown zero evidence of any evolution in any intelligence or ancillary physiological evidence of evolution of intelligence in the last 100,000 years.

We have far more knowledge today, but as an Indian, you should be ashamed to associate knowledge with intelligence, because you should know at least one or two total illiterate people who are ALSO highly intelligent from your life IN India, unless you really are  a under-30 spoilt upper middle class big city brat today that only ever hangs around in malls and movie theatres.

Organized religions didn't start at one time simultaneously.

Some religions were much ancient and had broader acceptance and understanding of science and technology than others.

There is no reason why Sushruta who is called as a father of modern surgery, was born before the invention of many religions.

The dogmatic ideas of Karma, Moksha and Aatma are all unscientific beliefs. If any religion fully embraced science, it wouldn't be able to survive.

There is no religion v science. A person can work scientifically in his laboratory and then visit a place of worship to pray.

APJ Abdul Kalam is said to have mentioned - For great men, religion is a way to make friends; small people make religion a fighting tool.”

There is nothing dogmatic about Karma, Moksha, Aa beliefs. You can choose not to believe in it and still be a Hindu . Other Abrahamic religions deny any doubts on their theology with punishable sentences like Blasphemy, sacrilege .

There is no religion v science, which is a battleground for unidimensional fools and empty vessels!

It is said that some people have taken Bhagat Gita to space! I meet a lot of doctors at temples. Some doctors have become religious gurus and some function as trustees at temples.

In general, Religion is simplified for the lowest common denominator.

I don’t see the air but I can feel it. There are germs and viruses that are invisible to the naked eye but I can feel their impact. When I love someone, I feel it.

Religion (talking about Hinduism) is to be felt! It is a journey of the soul!

Science doesnt stops Religion, Religion doesnt stops science. Gita isnt quantum physics, Quantam physics isnt Genetics, Genecs isnt Gita.

Religions give me a mechanism to be in Peace as I am not looking for this solution nor i believe I will get it via science.
