I know it's too early to say.  But frankly, don't see any team being able to stop Aus from lifting the WC2027 as well.

There bowling will be weak . Starc , Cummins, Hazlewood will be old or replaced . I don't see now any good upcoming fast bowlers from Australia.

Starc is finished.   Cummins & Hazlewood hv another 4-5 yrs I believe.

Eng are currently ranked 7th in ODI. (3 places below Pak).  This is their worst ranking since WC2019.  They are living upto their reputation by getting thrashed all over the world.  (Incl at home).

Very rarely it happens that both the teams in an ODI match score 320 each ; and yet the match finishes one hour earlier than the scheduled duration.  LOL.    Aus made 320 look like 220.

Eng without Butler bairstow Morgan are terrible

They will take timeto replace them

Post 2019, the white ball has been  swinging/seaming/spinning a fair bit more .

And they've struggled to adapt.

Can't slog their way out of trouble anymore.

Plus their bowling is very pedestrian. Archer is not what he was and they have a bunch of second/third string bowlers but no premier fast bowlers.

England bowling in the 2nd ODI. Australia need 320 and above to ensure the win, considering it's Headingley.

Cricket in England is just weird.

Day ODI starts at 11 AM.  D/N ODI starts at 12:30 PM.

What even is the difference?

Aus are over-dependent on T Head.

BKLwa single handedly snatched the WC trophy from us,first took a ridiculously good catch to dismiss our best batsman in the final then launching an all out attack on our highly coveted attack

As I said that loss to that Aus XI was way too humiliating

That was our WC

Even on flat pitches at home, Eng are struggling to chase a below par target of 270.  At this rate, they might drop down to the 10th spot in the ODI ranking.  Since 2019WC, they hv been performing like minnows consistently.  (Ranked 7th currently :p:).    They might hv to play the qualifier for WC2031.

Not sure how many of u can recall this.  Eng got whitewashed 0-3 in T20 series in BD against BD in 2023.     They hv been utter trash in both forms of whiteball cricket for over 2 yrs.

England can still reach semis in CT.

Paxtan is at all time low.  Sri Lanka have regrouped but haven't qualified.

That leaves India Australia SA and England as top 4 sides.

Kiwis themselves are in rebuilding phase after a shocking WT20.

Afg will be dark horses yet again.

Australia looks most balanced.

Aaron Hardie is going to be a gun all rounder in coming years.

Bartlett is a nice addition to their attack.

England hopeless team now in T20s and Odis..

Still Top 4 in T20's.  Only OZ, IND, SA can beat them consistently.

Mediocre in ODIs for quite some time .
