Jitesh doesn't deserve a spot. Also, we already have one gimmicky spinner in Bishnoi. I'm not sure why we need Varun C as well.

They didnt want to select Kishan. Other keeper options are even worse.

i am kind of reading AGARKAR's mind now - 

probably he is betting that Harshit and Mayank will prove him right in these t20's and Hence he will be in line to Newzealand and AUSTRALIA 

first 6 pacers being SIRAJ, Boom, Akash, Harshit , Mayank, Prasidh/SHAMMI/ARSHDEEP/KHALEEL( even 2 out of these 4 may be selected. in Australia 4 pacers may be played in all five test matches. so they may pick 6 to 7 Pacers( to cover for INJURY)

IN case Harshit/Prasidh/Mayank and Shammi have injury/fitness/form issues than Kamboj/Avesh/Mukesh/ARSH/Khaleel/kuldeep Sen will come into consideration.

Genuine Fast bowlers have fitness issues and Hence you dont know who will play. 

Mayank may be stretching himself very much and that's logical as he has been marked as one of the fastest bowlers on earth today.

Mayank's FIRST OVER when he comes back in T20- He will get 1 wicket.

 

Yes I am pleasantly surprised to see this thought process from Agarkar!

They seem to agree we will do great if these pace bowlers settle into the team

Mayank and Harshit ard the best we have got. Not only are they quick, tall, bouncy, accurate and young ... but both have thinking brains and wicket taking ability.

The first 3 pacers are all very accurate too and so this lineup should not be a problem.

 

Replace Tyagi / Umran with Akashdeep if the ball is moving. 

Only concern I see with this is if Harshit doesnt prove to be a good number 8 batter..else we will have a very long tail..

Samson is completely useless in t20.  Doesn't hv a 3rd gear.  Consumes a lot of balls in order to get settled.  And his keeping is at par with Kela level.  Massive selection blunder.  Jitesh is also useless.  If they wanted to rest Pant, then Kishan would hv been a better replacement.
