How can he go bald at 27 years of age. These official ages are all mostly fraud especially if they have not played u16, u19 age group cricket.

Male pattern baldness can start in late teens itself. Have seen few people go bald in college, even UG guys.

Those who watched him bowl, who is better right now, him or Siraj?

I dont whats wrong with Siraj, his speed is down and he is not getting much movement like before,he needs to get way better in the coming months.

Wow, Siraj has already played 29 tests. Felt like his debut was just yesterday, how time flies !!!!

Siraj has already peaked and is at a point where he can "retire". Can't bat, is a poor fielder, and bowling has gone south as well. Harshit is a huge upgrade on this guy and hope Harshit's tried against NZ

It is possible he is 2-3 years older, but baldness can strike some in their 20s too. I had classmates during graduation days who were already going bald.

He should have been dropped for the Bangladesh series. He has lost his hunger to perform and would have motivated if youngers pacers are performing better than.him

Akash Deep’s inclusion over Siraj isn’t merely about replacing one pacer with another; it’s a strategic decision based on current form, conditions, and the opponent’s batting lineup.

Akash Deep has shown promise with his ability to bowl with discipline, maintaining a tight line and length which could be crucial on Indian pitches where assistance for pacers might be limited. His variations, including a slower ball and the ability to move the ball both ways, make him a versatile option.

Akash Deep,  has been promising with his disciplined bowling where he has been able to maintain a consistent line and length-a goldmine on Indian pitches where the fast bowlers may not find support. Varying deliveries with a dependable slow ball and both ways movement can get him excitingly ahead in the deal. The bargain to adapt will also come handy in building pressure on New Zealand batters who have always been quite shrewd with spinners.

The team management is still hell bent on supporting Siraj.

Akash Deep is the closest to Shami we have. In the absence of Shami , Akash selection is a no brainer. Not this scrambled seam merchant. Siraj is not even landing ont he seam properly.

Have to say, it's impossible to understand how this guy was dropped in first Test.

First time I saw him in Australia I was impressed. Not a finished article yet but lot of things in place. Will be an asset.

IPL.
