not a big hitter though. I hope we don't repeat Jadeja mistake of playing him in T20s

Not for T20's, we have Bapu there for next few years.
I am more looking for him in the longest format. He is a very capable batter for no 5/6 and can allow us to have extra bowling in SENA without compromising bowling strength.

He is batting alrounder. They are bowling alrounders. His bowling is part time at best.

No no, he has been underbowled by Haryana, but this season he is bowling regularly in all formats. Improvements are there to be seen.

This Ranji he has taken 16 wkts in 5 games as an avg of 16 and SR of 34.
With bat he has scored 333 runs with an avg of 47 and SR of 70.

The numbers are before present game where he scored 165 against Karnataka.

But our selectors mix up formats like cocktails

Won VH not too long ago.

Domestic cricket is a bit of a joke nowadays.

They had 2 wins while top 2 Kerala and Haryana has just 3 wins. Too many draws and this was the weakest group. Kar struggled all season in red ball. Can’t believe Mumbai made KOs in spite of Rohit. Rahane as captain >>>>>>> Rohit Sharma

lack of quality spinners is a major Achilles heel, the sad part is i don't see any promising spinners knocking on the doir.
