He will have to play 2-3 matches without getting injured and show good form before being picked.

I also think he wont be at full pace..will need couple of doemstic matches to do warmup before getting into full pace and rythm and ofc proof of fitness.. may be he can join from 2nd test..

If he bowls in first game at full speed, thats enough. Form can't be worse than Siraj even if he tried

I would rather play rookies keeping future in mind as we are already out of WTC final race instead of injury ridden, out of touch veteran.

i hvnt seen his bowling just read about him..may be just medium pacer only..dont expect him to be Md Shami's level..already 27+ years old officially..found this old video of him..

First game in months and guy is bowling in channel beautifully and moving it both ways

 

As I said earlier he can't bowl worse than Siraj even if he tried. Its muscle memory to bowl in right areas.

 

Good to see the pace. Should play BGT from 2nd - 3rd game atleast
