SandeepMotta Posted July 23, 2025 Posted July 23, 2025 Kind of feel bad for the guy. He deserves a shot, he is in the squad on the basis of his performance, deserves a go. Frustrated 1

StraightDrive26 Posted July 24, 2025 Posted July 24, 2025 With Rahul doing well for India in this series, the chance of Easwaran getting a go is tough. He could have played at number 3 but again Sai Sudharshan had lots of backing ahead of this tour and he was always going to get the first chance. I feel sorry for Easwaran as India was struggling to find a good opening combination for almost his entire domestic career but still he was never given a chance. That is unfortunate. Broad was critical of dropping Sai Sudarshan after one test. Youngsters especially should be given a run. As i said net sessions quiet often decide the team seletion. I have seen him in domestic. Can be used in India. Probably Eswaran in place of Rohit would have helped us against NZ. He is a fantastic sweeper of the ball. He is like our own Ben duckett with array of sweeps. Against pace even guys like siddarth kaul cramped him for room with short ball on docile wickets. BacktoCricaddict 1
tweaker Posted August 1, 2025 Author Posted August 1, 2025 Abhimanyu Easwaran's father Ranganathan Easwaran, has questioned India's selection decisions after his son was once again overlooked for the fifth Test against England at the Oval. Abhimanyu is waiting for his debut after earning his maiden call-up back in December 2022. Frustrated 1

This is not the first time this idiot Gambhir has pulled this stunt, he kept Sarfraz out of the team in all five test while playing Jurel as batsman. There is no rule that he should not have played in middle order. Problem is the Coach. Edited August 1, 2025 by putrevus

Lord Posted August 1, 2025 Posted August 1, 2025 Should have atleast got one chance instead of Nair getting 3

putrevus Posted August 1, 2025 Posted August 1, 2025 I don't know how he will get another chance, Gambhir has ruined his only chance.

ash Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 Man I really need to see his nets session video once. Very curious how bad can it be for two different coaches/captains to overlook you just based on nets. Lord 1
