Yep, and read the relevant quote which is quite damning

Yeah, strike rate is over-rated indeed KL.

I'm more surprised that Mumbai lobby is not throwing their full weight behind Sarfraz. Gavaskar, Manjrekar etc should be tweeting nonstop about sarfraz but not doing so 

If that is true, this guy Gambhir is fraud of highest order.  All he talked when was in media was my country this and that, he has already denied Harshit Rana Indian debut in all three formats fuelling the rumor he was helping KKR.

He got dropped after two matches in home series against Australia. Gill replaced him as opener. 

 

Then magically appeared in middle order. Scored a hundred in South Africa and got permanent. Stars were aligning for him so far.

I don't think there is more lucky guy than this guy. 2018 should have been last of him in Indian colors.

If Team India's net sessions are to be considered as hints, the fact that Rahul batted for hours does boost his selection chance. Sarfaraz, on the other hand, was reportedly nowhere to be seen in the practice session on Tuesday.

 

Rahul also said to have asked India's bowling coach Morne Morkel to bowl to him in the nets as the batter wanted to prepare for tall pacers that the Blackcaps have in their team.

Karun Nair, I can understand to some extent as Rahane was out injured and  he was VC  plus he had pretty decent record then with avg of 48.

 

All others made no sense and this would be devastating as  it is for KL Rahul and his 33 avg.

People talk about his centuries overseas, but except a century here and there, he is just a dud.

 

That series against WI came long ago when he was shaping up to be a good cricketer. Unfortunately, over the last few years, what we have seen is just some very occasional flashes of brilliance followed by long dry spells of abject failures. At this point, there is no point in keep betting on a losing horse. We should have just cut our losses long ago and dumped him for good.

Weird. I read a report that just said the opposite.
