MS couldn't do jack to Sonia.

Last 3/4 yrs it was lower middle order who was doing most of the run scoring and rescue jobs, top-order runs only came in that eng series.

Now that lower middle order has not performed so far in these 2 matches this was suppose to happen.

The first test was lost at the toss, it rained for multiple days and Ind opted to bat with their out of 4 top order batter only 1 has 36+ batting avg. in test this year

 

overall nothing will happen/should happen its just 1 series and they can not drop kolhi, rohit.... and if ind loses the bgt some no-name guy plus siraj if he does not perform will be dropped.

 

rohit -- can not be dropped he is the captain and superstar

Jaiswal-- he has been good

Gill --do not think so, they are thinking him as all format player and vc and next captain

Kolhi--can not be dropped he is  Kolhi 

Sarfarz--he has been good

Pant --he has been good in tests

KL--He is border line can be dropped but he is the one who draws the attention away from non-performing rohit and  Kolhi

Siraj -- Should have been rested/dropped longtime back but now Ind is left with no other test bowler so he will play unless selectors and TM decides its time to bring new bowlers

 

Rest are bowlers who have done good with with bat and have bowled well.

 

So can TM and selectors drop -- rohit, Gill, Kolhi, KL, Siraj ???

 

So after NZ series do not think anything will happen, everything will swept under the rug. as they did after Ind's early exit from that 2019 t20 wc.

And then there is IPL auction in some days all the media/fan attention will be on that.

You are right. May be I need a vacation of watching these games. Just following results will be better.  Less time invested is less disappointment.

Nothing will change. Kohli has been failing since 2019 and nothing yet. In fact Kohli's peak (2014-2018) has been much shorter than the period he has sucked but we still can't drop that over the hill piece of shyte.

 

Ideally, he should've been kicked out 3 years ago but here we are. Him and Rohit (along with KL) have no business being in the squad.

But that's my point. It should not be upto Rohit. 

 

But it is clear that in Indian setup, captain and seniors are the ones calling the shots.  Not coach and selectors .
