Pujara will return. He is past by sell date. With him we have lost the last MO player who would put a price on his wicket.  That attitude is missing among the noobs. No, just drop him. He is done in test cricket. He has been for a while and the reason is obvious : man cannot play square cut. Hid it well in his youth but now his eyesight is gone and bowlers exploit this all over him - bowl full, dont worry about line as long as its outside off-stump, just keep it good length and not full, because he wont cut.

People like Kohli will not be dropped in Indian setup... No selector had balls to drop Sachin/ Dhoni and same will continue with Kohli. My guess he will stick on till world test championship no matter what. 

 

PS: Blame Dravid for asking Kohli to tick all 3 boxes in his career (ODI World cup/ T20 world cup/ Test championship)..

They are not that important to spoil our Diwali. Rohit, Kohli, Jadeja are that kind of shameless guys who are now enjoying with their own families. They take their place for granted with the protection from corporate mafia.

Selectors should be blamed for this loss.No accountability. This selectors are spineless.Perennials failures are selected again and again.

 

This selection committee has no guts to make the seniors play in Duleep or Irani trophy. 

 

If the seniors are dropped for some matches,their ego may get hurt and they may play better. 

 

IPL retention was around, if the seniors were dropped, they would have perform atleast for retention. 

 

The selection committee is even gutless to drop Rahul and Siraj ,forget Virat or Rohit.

 

Young players are make to felt unwanted and seniors are accommodated on flimsy criteria. 

 

The selection committee has made a scenario as there are no replacement for seniors. When seniors skip.matches they select such players that can be dropped any time.

I am not sure why people are surprised by Kohli performance. Yes, he might make runs here and there once a year, so could Thakuar and Akashdeep.
