Our cities are pieces of crap. Full of noise, dust, indiscipline, pollution and chaos.

Do not know why some nationalists get defensive .

Just look at cities in countries like vietnam, Iran and also the ex Soviet republics. They look much much better.

Ironically these cities have a lower cost of travel than our mega-dumps.

Pyongyang looks like paradise in comparison.

83 of the most 100 polluted cities are in India. It's a place that almost needs a reset from scratch.

The solution starts with the acknowledgement of the problem.

Most  Indians have internalised the presence of chaos and filth as "normal". May be it goes back to the philosophy of karma and fate.

Once the disgust starts, only then the resolution commences.

It starts with enforcing law and order and no corruption there.

Same Indians are very good in cleanliness once they move abroad. There is no internalising, just no fear of danda.

Also many think that cleaning is for the so called low castes only.

Indians are better abroad but still prone to a lot of mess when living amongst each other. Just look at Southall, Wembley, Leicester in England. They will keep their own houses tidy but the streets outside will have litter around.

He did one on India recently and the difference between the two countries is light years. For some reason I can't post the India one here.

They were neck and neck 35-40 years ago. Inexcusable, you can't just blame the Brits. There's a reason why the west is more anti China than anti India, it's because they actually fear China and it's rise. The thing I like about the Chinese is that they don't brag either. Their leaders and prople say they are still a developing nation, not a superpower.

The Chinese not only have a better government but their IQ is also light years ahead of India. I've never been to China but have visited India 5 times, half the population if not more seem like NPCs.

India has 1 policeman per 1000 people. There is no enforcement possible at these levels.

It starts with raising taxes....

However the politician to do that will pay the price....

The curse of democracy.

India is a superpower. The white man is jealous. It is a conspiracy against the rise of India. What about litter in cities such as Detroit. First, clean that”.

Copy and paste the above. Send it to 100 people. Display your patriotism and that you are not influenced by the NATO countries!

Danda is certainly the effective short term way.

The long term way is for the citizens to realize the utility of community assets. Be it road/lake/country. Then they are less likely to make them dirty.

Simple.

Populace that is co-operative will march ahead in prosperity and power.

China is one such society. India isn't.

It takes years to form such habits. Constant danda is only way. Kids will learn from parents and carry it forward.
