Good decision if they only retained these two.

They will go into the auction with the biggest purse and buy back Arshdeep. And assemble a new team.

But why Prabh instead of Ashutosh

A. aggressive indian Wk batsman at cheap price which aren't many.

Chakarvarthy was a bigger factor in their title. They are on right track this year again.

Not worth 12 Cr. Could have easily been RTMed at 8-9 Cr max.

Shreyas was their captain to the title and took DC to finals too when he was captain there. Thats tough to replace and is important

That's where I think the certainty vs possibility factor plays in.

As Ashwin described in his channel, teams might have to make spot decisions on RTM. If they are sure about having a player, they are better off retaining him rather than going them RTM route

RCB might go aggressively for Pant.

Small ground, his one handed mishits can go for sixes.

They need a keeper and potentially a captain.

They have the second biggest auction purse just behind Punjab.

News has leaked that kohli is going to be the captain

And pants one hand sixes are not mishits, they showed multiple replays that when he hits both hands are on the bat, he follows through longer than others which is why one had comes off the bat AFTER the shot has been hit

11 crore for Mayank Yadav. Has that ever played 2 games back to back without getting broken?

Every faast bowler had initial injuries. Steyn did. Akhtar. Bumrah. Cummins played one test and was injured for FIVE years.

Injuries are usual for initial career of fast bowlers

Doesn't matter whether Kohli captains or not, Pant has no choice about where he goes. If RCB wants to pick him as a player, he would go there.

One handed shots or not, the point is that his mishits are powerful enough to go for six at Chinnaswamy

They are not mishits dude, that's the whole point. Why are you calling them mishits?

I am not calling them mishits.

I am only saying that Pant's shots are powerful, so event potential mishits can go for boundaries in a small ground

Which means they don't want Iyer at all. Who'll be their captain?
