bhai look at their faces after retirement. They go from looking like 25 year old Ken-dolls to 95-year old dadus in 5 years flat.
The only celebrity dude i can think of, who literally doesnt look a day older in the last 20 years, is Anil Kapoor. So hack his phone and find out what he eats. Its probably just cucumber salad with swan tears.

In an event that I attended a couple of years ago, Anil Kapoor mentioned that he still fits into his Mr. India tweed jacket.

The movie released in 1987. Quite likely it was shot in 1986 and 1987.  The dimensions of his torso haven't changed since!!

Rekha too stopped ageing around 50 years ago.

I think my parents generation have had the best luck amongst from those who stay in urban India. Much better health care and nutrition than the generation before them, and with clean air. And most of them have aged really well.

My mother, a year younger than Anil Kapoor doesn't have a speck of white hair.

Agreed, but no offence to your mother, i highly doubt she looks like she hasnt aged a day in last 20 years like Anilbhai.

For that you need more than just clean air and yoga, you need to eat like cucumber salad with swan tears or some hippie dippie **** as your regular diet.

Also it depends on attitude.

If jhunjhunwala had health in his mind space rather than trading and spending time in front of screen then he would make less money but lived longer.

My role model is Rahul Gandhi....he lives in polluted Delhi, busy, many events, many things to look after, travels a lot etc. is 54 yo. Looks 25-30 without beard, very fit body also...I guess he doesn't take tension, that's his secret.

John Abraham also 50+ very fit. He hasn't eaten sweets for decades...I don't know how that is possible... sweets, fried food are very very tempting.

You have to mentally condition yourself to do so. I am a bong who gave up sugar a few years ago, so you must know how difficult this is, particulary for a bong with a sweet tooth like me ( i have eaten an entire pound and half of pure chocolate in my youth or had like 20 rasmalai in one sitting before).

My first six months were very tough, because i was doing the normal 'nahee its bad for me' avoidance while being tempted. So instead i tried mental conditioning - every time i pictured sugar in my head, i associated brown cyrstals ( i always use brown sugar as i like its taste better) with ground dehydrated human poop in a sewage treatment plant.
After a few weeks of thinking of 'dried ground human poop' everytime i thought of having sugar in my coffee, i found that now my brain is conditioned to think 'ew sugar gross'.

So now i dont have to struggle with it, i am happy with 'ew sugar gross' mental image, coz it takes away the temptation now.

My mom has been a criminal lawyer (of some repute :proud:) for 40 + years. In one of her earliest cases as a junior litigant, her team was threatened by a gang for appearing against them. So all of the people were provided with a security detail by the state government. My mom being the youngest had only a havaldar who was to accompany her always. She always speaks very fondly of him. He was an old almost retired gentleman who couldn't even hurt a fly.

The entire thing must have taken a toll on her mental make up, although she doesn't make much of it.

Another stress point was that she had to give the havaldar the slip when stepping out to meet my dad. Dating problems in the 80s.

And later she had to raise me, which I am sure couldn't have been easy either.

All in all, she has handled a fair level of stress successfully, and managed to keep her hair intact! Credit where due.
