He is done guys.  He failed 5 innings out of 6 innings in the home series against NZ alongwith Rohit. He failed in several such series. We don't want this to continue all over again.

Hoping against hope that he once again starts performing in Tests. A Test century in Australia is definitely a fresh and solid start again.

Kohli's issue is spin on turners, especially sla.

 

Has been decent vs pace.

 

Don't think he will survive on spin vs turners still. Should retire post England tour unless Indian pitches become flatter.

 

Even in AC 23, smashed Pak and then got out to Wellalage next match.

naah was good in SA on tough wickets in both 2022 and 2024.

Aged batters, who start getting late on their shots, rarely become consistent again.

 

There are a few good to decent knocks here and there ... but inconsistent batters generally do little good to the team overall.
