Lol Patidar has 5th highest sr in T20 cricket this year, criteria being minimum of 500 runs scored. He's in company of Russell, Head, Finn allen, Abhsihek Sharma.

Unfair to comapre Intnl SR with domestic SR.

Not sure of Patidar intnl. quality but he should get a chance in Ind team. He is able to hit pacers and spinner right from the crease. Able to read length v.quickly.

The issue is what position do you try him best will be #3. Verma got a chance recently and he got 2 100+ scores can they drop him. Rinku is not getting chance to bat.

It includes franchise cricket too.

T20 is so limited, the same Patidar could not put bat on ball against spinners in Tests.

Need specialized player for specific format, not sure what was the point of getting him in test.

Performed in t20 should get chance there

my point is Patidar is not a good player of spin,he is just a spin basher on flat wickets which we see in most T20 grounds in India now, sure he will do flat wickets but he will once again fail on any pitch which offers turn.

Ind batters in general has the  problem with spin be it hitting or just defending, Ind lost Odi against SL, Lost match against SL on a spinning track in Asia cup.

Lost series to Bd in Bd. Next t20i wc is in Ind. so wont be bad idea to try him. Nt saying he is intnl quality but no harm in trying him.

Not sure if he is good for Odis or Tests but, T20is he should be tried, can play from number 3-6 and he is high impact batter.

Guys like Avesh become ipl multimillionaires and get into Indian team because rest of the bowlers are Tripuresh and Batham level who never cross 125 km/hr.

BCCi should be ashamed of themselves….. BC sharm nahi aati hai aisey trundlers ko khelane me …. They are laughing stock of the world… Inspite of so much money, exposure and ipl all we are serving is zaleel, Gruntlesh and few bunch of malnourished midget trundlers. There is no plan as such to develop tall fast bowlers of test standard.

Can 120k bowlers be banned in domestic unless they are AR..whst pathetic bowling line ups we had for the finalists

There should be speedometers in each and every domestic games else , how would these selectors know who is bowling at what pace.

Sub 135 kmph is not cut out for Intnl cricket. but these sub sub 135 kmph keep playing many matches and accumulate wkts and by the end of the season they have good eco. and wkts to show.

V.disappointing smat season this 1, think only warrier and Ishant and may be couple more (already known name with ind cap or nearing retirement) might have bowled 140 kmph rest no one. majority were sub 130 kmph.

On other hand anyone bowling fast goes for some runs gets dropped next game.

This is the major reason none of these top wkt getters are getting into IPL teams.

Agreed..but you me and everyone who are keen follower of Indian cricket can easily figure out what is their pace..

I am not saying your suggestion is not good..but I mean..these selectors have lazy asses..and buggers are not doing their jobs..we are doing what they are supposed to do..if they have been sincere even the naked eye test will help them finding who is a trundler and who is not..
