GT and SRH creating perfect team for their home conditions e en if some players don't look like fancy T20 picks. Would have loved to to see Noor but CSK played smart. Might have gone for Ghazanfar as well.

At A’bad, GT will play 3-4 pacers (one can come in as impact player if bowling 2nd).

Gill at 3 and Butler at 2. Sai and Gill are very similar even though they are premium batsmen. If they opened for some other team you would open a thread criticizing their approach

Both have a good record at A’bad. Buttler now bats at #3 for Eng and probably can relatively adjust better at #3 per the situation than the other two but yeah, the batting order is flexible.

Good to see GT picked Phillips. They won’t waste his talent. Tewatiya and Phillips are going to create nuisance for teams in middle order as batsmen.

batting looks a bit light.  They might need to play both Philips and Rutherford and leave out Rabada/Coetzee. Pace attack seems fine without them

It depends on form. Pick the ones in good form. GT has chosen players who are likely to do well at venues like A’bad. 
 

For GT someone or the other tends to step up so let’s see whose season it turns out to be.

3.6 = 7 players at base price + unused amount. 
 

Most of these guys are going to warm the bench so maybe GT was better off getting a 2 cr base price player (many went unsold) and then using the rest to pick up other base price players. Could have even bid more on some of the players it could have lost by a fraction.
