But if you keep plugging you can get wickets. Usually run scoring wicket except on day 1 . Batting will become easier Link to comment

vvvslaxman
When NZ tours INdia we have to give them fast and bounciest pitches. We can effectively take their trundlers out of the equation. Dharamsala, Mohali kind of pitches. Link to comment

Nikhil_cric
0.8 degrees of seam movement in 1st session. Batting first up is just a whole lot tougher than it used to be 5 years ago. New Zealand have done well despite losing the toss on a greenish pitch. India would've been bowled out for less than 200. Link to comment

Likes of Will O Rourke and Ben Sears would trouble us on a fast surface. Unless we beat them in NZ it won't go away. This is Southee's last series as well. Our next visit in 2026 we will face O Rourke ,Smith , Sears Jamieson likely Link to comment

Kiwis doctor pitches only against subcontinent sides. Compare this Hagley Oval Track with the one against India in 2020. Link to comment
rollingstoned
Kiwaahs have the most spin unfriendly conditions in the world, ahead of even Saf. If they take wickets it is only due to false shots and pitch deteriorating. It is usually not that hot for it to even deteriorate much. It's why they barely produce good spinners.
