Darren Gough.

Gough was not a genuine quick...he was a 133-140 bowler. WC to be corrected.

Freddie was the quickest, once he let go off extra weight. Simon Jones, Harmison & Gough were similar pace, Hoggard was a trundler.

Steve Finn can click 145 and above when he came to the scene, probably quickest then. But soon lost pace courtesy of injuries. Dernbach too was quick and can clock 144.

Yeah but Freddie was quicker after 2000. He was asking about bowlers who were quick before 2000.  Gough was capable of hitting 90 mph.  But there were no speed guns back then.

He has definitely been clocked at 149.8 kph and that was in May, 2000 when he was 30 years old.  Allegedly clocked 150 + in the 1998/99 season in Australia as well.

England into the lead now with 5 wickets still in hand. Made a comeback from 71/4 when it looked like NZ would get a heavy lead and win the match, but now England are the favorites.

NZ losing(in all probability) this test only because of their fielding. Never thought something like this will ever happen.

NZ knocked out of WTC.  Poms must be eyeing a series win against these sheep sh@@**rs

Its a three way race now for WTC Final. SL and NZ hammering has made the equation quite simpler.

IND vs SA if AUS continues to stink ( and they have two tough test vs SL)
IND VS AUS  if SA chokes and drop tests to SL and PAK
AUS VS SA  if IND falters in BGT

Devon Malcolm was one of the quickest bowler in the 90s.

He meant Craig White ,the AR in late 90s and early 2000,he used to send few at late 140s out of nowhere from low 130s

He was round arm,did reverse ball and helped Eng win against Pak in their tour to Pak

Yeah Craig White was surprisingly quick for his build and run up. England used short balls, Ashley Giles and reverse swing to beat PAK in PAK.

My point about Gough was that he was very likely the quickest 90's bowler from England.

I know Devon Malcolm was supposed to be quicker but he was a rubbish bowler

Chalo atleast England did a favour to us for once.

Now all we need to do is win the BGT 3-1 and we are pretty much guaranteed of a final against South Africa...which I definitely back us to win.
