Jansen gets a 5-fer.

Jansen and Coetzee are both 24 yrs old. So future is set.

Nandre Burger is just a better test bowler than both. No idea why he is not getting picked. Does he even have CSA contract?

The only one hyping Lankans were probably former SL greats, Pak, because Endia and some other India haters! They barely have one batter worth of any note right now, Mendis, and he's played hardly a year.

Although our bowlers won us 2nd test in SA last year but first test was totally lost by bowlers+captain.

Our batsmen had scored enough runs around 250. Letting SA score 400+ there was criminal.

Last three tests which India lost in SA in 2022 and 23 , bowlers lost them. They had two decent 4th inning targets to defend but could not do anything either.

This is very battable pitch though. We got much worse.

SL just got exposed after all the hype

Under Rohit we may lose to this SL as well. Sooner we get rid of this generic kaptaan is the better. I am already worried about Adelaide oval with him coming back. Listening to Bumrah's post match conference and Rohit conference you can see the world of difference.

Pitches every where in general have become bowler friendly.

We are rarely seeing 500 plus scores.

Yes. This is why I don't think it's fair to compare Kohli's stats with Sachin/Dravid in tests and conclude that he's an inferior batsman. Previous generation played on much better batting wickets.

SA bowling definately makes up for its poor batting in these conditions.

With Jansen Rabada Coetzee in this kinda form.

4-0 this summer is on the cards.  They will coast through WTC Final.

So one of the finalists is SA, the way NZ has started their series they could be other finalists. England has the tendency to get worse as the series progresses..

1990s and 2000s were played on some of the flattest wickets everywhere.

Even guy like Thilan Samarweera has avg of nearly 49.00 that after 81 tests.

India has to start playing on wickets like England series. Where it is not lottery to survive. It was utterly stupid for BCCI to play NZ on those useless wickets.
