The thing is no 1 heard of him before this year when he turned up fr state team. V.uusual if there is some1 who can make it to state team at u15 and not yet written or talked about in Ind media. Yes he is nt from big city or team like mum or del or karntk but still

Also what is his record in ag grp cricket any big runs some where.

He has been in the news since last year when he made his FC debut for Bihar.

Yeah me too but his physical age is more than his actual age by one year. Usually in u14 cricket, boundary size is 45 meter. I have seen 13 year olds in our academy. They can't hit 60-70 yard sixes but he does. He scored 58 ball 100 against Aus u19, the only good innings he has played in u19 till now.

IPL team is unlikely to give prospects shorter boundary for their evaluation. So most probably the guy is older than he is. And worse he's inconsistent - it's not that he's scoring heavily everywhere the way Tendulkar used to when he came on to the domestic scene as a 14 year old. This looks more like a PR stunt than anything else.

Looks like an age fudger. Not as blatant as Naseem Shah or Rashid Khan where the age is off 5 years or so but he (actually his dad) looks to have fudged his age by couple of years.

BCCI has to clamp down on it and make an example. Probably that's the reason we see u-19 team winning time and again and we go trophy-less for a decade at senior level.

If he's found to be lying about his age, he should be kicked out from IPL for an year or two. They banned Jadeja for an year for a much minor violation so this guy should be kicked out for some time as well.

His father says " My son has worked hard. At the age of 8 years, he excelled at U-16 district trials." at age 8 lol

He scored consistently everywhere that's why he got picked. I heard in a video that he scored 50 centuries in Bihar club matches.

He's an age fudger. You can't fight biology and physiology. An 8 year old kid, no matter how talented, cannot compete with 16 year olds. Even a year or two makes a huge difference at that age.

He isn't an age fudger. He has an early development.

How dare he scored against India and actually won the match , lets slap him with an age fudger tag.

In all seriousness, majority of the Pakistani players do age fudging (if not all).

I mean if Naseem is 21, what a joke...with his midget height and exploded belly..he is around 27-28. Shaheen starts trundling after 2 overs and loses all fitness and stamina.

The Pakistani fast bowlers like Waqar retired by age of 33 ... Waqar himself was a balant age fudger. Even on his debut series he was no way 18, at minimum 22. If anyone calls the difference in age between him and Sachin was only 2 years, then he/she need to get their eyes checked.

Abdul Razzaq was thrown out at an age of 32...I mean come on. He was barely able to see and run on the field properly.

In paxtani fudging age by 6-8 years is part of life

The bad impact is nullified as at each level all of them fudge by same margin, good thing is none of the deserving are sent empty handed

As everyone is age fudger

Also this shadab Khan …. He is still 24 , he was 24-25 while he debuted during ct17. Only Afgan bro can fight against Pakistani in age fudging.

The insecurity is funny. You’d think India would be used to losing to Pakistan by now, the ronduness still comes out after every loss.

The kid is clearly not 13 btw and a hack to boot.
