Ravi_Shastri Posted May 29 Posted May 29 (edited) Who gives a crap when you average 37 with the ball . You can bowl 250 kph but won't matter when you average that other than for youtube highlights clips and to satisfy the ego of a few low iq buffoons. A 135 kph bowler who averages 25 with the ball will always be better than these run machines. Lol at the Mark Wood glossing. One of the worst test bowlers to get so much hype in the last 25 years Imagine a world xi of Nahid Rana, Mark Wood, Mayank and Haris Rauf. Phaaastest in the world and also will be the fastest to concede 600 runs per day , every single day. Edited May 29 by Ravi_Shastri

He slowed down after that as most fast bowlers do. So yes we did produce one like that , averages are similar too. Ishant troubled Ponting with his movement, WACA mein anyway pace/bounce was there. Anyway I don't think Ishant is the right example. Umesh maybe but Nahid is faster, and taller. Lot of respect to Umesh still, for cranking it up even in his 30s, underrated when it comes to our home dominance. tapandrun 1
