Kurdish faction controls the region with oil wells and is obviously supported by US. So, who gets which region is key. Also HTS faction that reached Damascus has looted all the money from the Central Bank. It’s going to be a bloody civil war

Russian and Assad were ally to Turkey when it came to Kurds. ISIS faction has come to power but ISIS mothership still remains in Syria. Golan heights belong to Syria which is under Israel.
