How does one interpret this?

Eastern part of Syria bordering Iraq has ISIS cells. The above HTS faction that is in now in Damascus,   is from North west and is former Al-Aqeda turned good samaritan that the west is now celebrating.

They are the U.S. backed group. There are so many factions involved in Syria no knows who is who. I remember seeing a documentary multiple countries turkey suppprts a group, Assad, U.S. backed group and the IS.

Israel preempts most of its defense. They already occupied Syria highest peak. Because the group in Syria will turn on them now. They have advantage with the highest peak so they launch against the groups.

@BacktoCricaddict This might help. There are not many 5-6 groups

The US backing is for Kurdish forces that Türkiye opposes. ISIS is active in the desert areas and those near Iraq. HTS is new darling is former Al-Qaeda

I am trying to square it with this claim ashte: “ISIS IS IN FULL CONTROL OF SYRIA. COMPLETING THE WISH LIST FOR OBAMA ADMINISTRATION,”

People on Twitter say whatever they want, pulling hypotheses out of thin air. Now I guess they will say "Biden targeted the ISIS faction that Obama doesn't like so that it is easier for the Obama-beloved faction to rule." One can take any set of dots and connect them in any way that suits a prior POV.

This says SDF is US-backed and fights against ISIS. So, if Obama (and his stooge Biden) love ISIS, how can they support SDF that fights against ISIS? People randomly tweeting stuff.

This has got more to do with HTS which had ties with Al-qaeda till 2016, now they are all rejoicing that they beat Assad. But if you are practical , you should know this coup has got to have the blessing of US, they HTS couldn’t advance so much without US support.

Oh I get that - A despot replaced by a terrorist group - nothing to rejoice here.

For sure. But that tweet above clearly said that ISIS is in full control and this is Obama's wish. Verbal diarrhea.

Good to see that it didn't take long for the Jihadi boyz to get back to brand. Wonder when they will shut the women up. Amazing how the western media and the UN completely ignores all these things.

They think that only a benevolent force can topple a cruel despotic maniac, not realizing that often, even the replacement is cruel, despotic and maniacal. Round and round we go :-(

My issue is that these killings by the rebels is not being covered at all by the media. In fact, they are still celebrating Assad's downfall. How can this kind of selective blindness in reporting go unnoticed by all?

I think only difference between Alqaeda and HTS or ISIS and SDF is although they all started as same, one is good while other is bad.

actually they all were one and good in Syria fighting evil Assad till one day a blueprint of the plan was discovered that included Saudi Arabia too.

Finally, when war started in 2016 or whatever. first casualty were minority Christians.

Don’t blame Israelis for taking preemptive measures as more Christians have been killed in last 20 decades in ME than total number of jews

:-). Seriously? I hope you are being sarcastic here and just showing how ridiculous the political narrative is.

BTW, is there confirmation that these videos on Twitter are authentically showing recent barbarism by the HTS-led militants? I don't believe for a moment that these groups are any less evil than Assad, but that opinion should not be based on false videos. How does one authenticate SM info?

Ruusia had only one bastion in ME and that was Syria.

Initial daye, after Al Queda became bad, ISIS was born and took control in Iraqi and Syrian region trying to make a heaven for Muslims of world in Middle East. It was all hunky dory and they were fighting Assad and Russians.

But one day, a blue print of their Strategic plan got leaked that included Pro Westerns nations like Saudi and other in hit list.( Common Sense, How can you have Heaven without Mecca in it.)

Long Story Short, group was sub divided, ISIS which wanted to make heaven on Earth and SDF which wanted (limited ambitions) just to Control Syria aka get rid of Russian access to Mediteranean

Rest is history
