They won t20s against Zim primarily due to Abrar..else would hv lot too..lack of Zim batters exp playing gainst his mystery fo r now

Pak is trying some newer players, got a lA leg-spinner and a mystery spinner too.

The issue remains the batting lacking player who can increase or keep the tempo up. Previously the bowling use to cover-up those issues with the sub-par score.

At one time they had v.good bowling line up for t20s with an non-mystery and non malinga/pathirana type bowler. This was v.much the template a team needs if they lack mystery spin and pure wkt-taker with v.good eco.

 

Since the injury to Shaheen pak team is unable to pick early wkts too check the opposition from scoring big in pp but now most opposition batter are getting good score.

The only thing that still remain good is how they are able to pull the things back in last few overs but by then the game is already gone because of inability of batting unit to chase down or set-up good totals.

 

Pak batting still remains 155--165 when 200+ is not a save target. Most teams are letting go of dedicated anchor role and are going full tilt from ball 1 looking for multiple 4/6 per over and in that if they lose few wkts they are good with it and if they end up 150 Ao on a bad day they will take it be it chasing or setting up target.

Their T20 batting is absolutely garbage. Always has been. No power hitters , no consistent dynamic players .nothing.

 

India's 3rd choice batters like Kishan, Iyer, Gaikwad, Tripathi , Nehal Wadhera etc would walk eyes closed into their XI.

Even Chandimal played a T20 game yesterday in some league. Tests is no one's priority.

Don't be so sensitive, Abdul. It is true that your T20 batting is borderline minnow esque.. "King" Babar crawling to a match losing 40 (41)  against freaking USA on a flat Dallas wicket in the WC is the epitome of pak's batting mediocrity in this format. 

 

By the way 120 was more than enough on that NY wicket..had dube taken that sitter earlier, you guys would have lost that game by 20-30 runs.

The culprit in the last match was Rizwan. Between not being able to restrict Saf to low total after having them 50-4 or so, noob spinner going for plenty and leisurely batting by Rizu match was lost. Same ground we put up a mammoth score not long back.

Lol that was with lots of dead weight playing and Pak had the best of conditions with the ball seaming and swinging.

 

In flatter conditions, your losers failed to chase 120.
