Why are you bringing ODIs into tests? Kohli was a great test captain but shitty LOI captain.

And again you haven't told why it was a bad decision when they won by 10 wickets with a day to spare.

Their batting is decent, he just wanted to give his new bowlers practice before WTC final.

Yes, he wanted to give practice to his new bowlers for a final 5 months away by bowling them into the ground on a flat wicket.

They don't have any test matches between this and wtc final, this is the only international practice they get.

And how exactly was anyone bowled to the ground, each of theirs workload was way lower than Bumrahs, for example bumrah bowled 53 overs in 4th test, rabada who bowled most overs bowled just 40 overs in this test match. Other bowlers bowled much less.

And it was just a two match series, so the bowlers hardly bowled much overall unlike our bowlers bowling in a 5 match series. Who was bowled into the ground?

He bowled 40 overs without any rest in between the innings. It's not the same thing when you keep getting brought back for spell after spell.

It's why he was trundling at 130 kph at the end of it.

This was a pretty long home season with Jansen and Rabada taking part in multiple formats across the India/SL/PAK tours .

Also that 4th Test is why Bumrah eventually broke down in the 5th Test. Not really making your argument

And multi format bowlers are at greater risk of injury when their workloads keep varying.

They'll also be bowling in the SA20 soon and they'll be exhausted by the time the Champions Trophy comes around.

What good is this so called practice for a Test match that is 5 months away ?

They can easily play a domestic match or 2 which runs through April.

And finally , you yourself were questioning the decision to follow on in the match thread.

40 overs over 2 days on a rare occasion. is nothing for a fast bowler. I can understand the concern if it was a 5 match series, but in a 2 match series? Really?

Cummins has been doing that every match for a long long time even in 5 match series. Come on dude, just admit it.

Is a whole season dude. It's not just 2 Test matches.

And Cummins hasnt been doing that back to back especially when there's no qualification on the line.

In fact he's skipping the SL series most likely.

You clearly don't understand multi format workloads or the fact that not every bowler is equally durable.

Which bowler from this test bowled in multiple formats, my dude? Rabada bowled in 2 ODIs and 9 T20s in entire 2024, last T20 he played was in June.

Bruh. This season is not over . He is going to play the entire SA 20 after this. You do realise that ?
