wow Arshdeep the all rounder.   3/56 and 49(39) with 3 sixes.  But how the heck, this hack Arshin made a 100. Here he totally owns Ruturaj

Tukuraj has so weak outside off game it isn't even a joke now.  Can't believe they were considering him for tests.

I would bet even Abhishek the T20 player will score more than him in Test matches

Probably true. But no way he's going to get a look-in ahead of Arshdeep who has performed in so many bilaterals now.

Khaleel is always in the mix for a reason.  Let's hope to see a fit Mukesh C in IPl.

He's csk certified professional just like thala singh Tony ,who himself  was joke of a test batsman/kaptaan and a highly overrated odi batsman as well, better than this Rahane superlite though

Is there anything this Ruturaj us good at ?

Bats like KL Rahul in T20's, only accelerate when he reach his milestone. .tests he is giving catching practice to slips..

It seems only in flat patta of ODI's he is good enough.

Don't take this tournament seriously. Shardul Thakur was the opening bowler. That should tell you everything about the standard of VHT

Karun Nair is yet to be dismissed in this tourney.... He has close to 600 runs and today destroyed Manav Suthar (spin killer that he is)

If form is a strong criterion he must make the team for Eng ODIs and they can go from there. He is in sublime form.

Shreyas and Karun are probably the 2 best players of spin. Only if  they had played instead of Roko in the NZ series

To be fair, Karun Nair was not showing much in domestic cricket (AFAIK) for many years .... until this tourney. But now that we are seeing it, he should be roped in.

Thakral from Haryana has some pace...was bowling 133-135 vs Gujrat.

Kamboj was in 128-131 range...while Sumit Kumar was 123-127.

@tapandrunyes, Parth Vats too is a left arm orthodox...Espncricinfo has gone mad unless he is ambidextrous :cantstop:

Nishant Sindhu doesn't dart the ball and actually spins it. Good signs.

Does Thakraj have braced leg, seems like he bends the knees, wont be able to increase and sustain the pace for longer.

Kamboj  does not seem to be anything special, same run of the mill sub 140 kmph bowler who are decently accurate which Ind cricketing system likes.

They are selling him as allrounder, he bats at no.8 for domestic team and he is allrounder, Sandhu needs to work on his power game else there is no point in current day and time #5/6/7 should be able to hit 4/6 with ease against both pace and spin on leg and off side

Too late at 33.

agree.. just that he is in phenomenal form and I watched his innings yesterday. He was middling everything and toyed with every bowler
