Boland is not a good example out of his 56 wkts 49 are in Aus in 9 tests and in rest 4 tests he has 7 wkts.

Plus as mentioned he is tall and accurate but with all that he would not have been Aus 1st choice its only because Aus for the 1st time do not have any bowler bowling 140+ kmph in domestic cricket.

Look at BBL no one cranking 145 kmph regularly. All look sub 140 kmph bowlers. Santlake, Moris, meridith are only who may be bowling with some pace.

He is going to play in SL..lets see how 120ks help him haha

Think wk was standing up to the wkts in the only test he played in Ind.

At sub 135 kmph in Intnl cricket, its either batter poking at the balls or it swings like philinder did in SA gets the wkt, nothing else.

And once the ball stops swinging those kind of bowlers are rendered use less, thats why these sub 135 kmph bowlers donot play white-ball cricket.

Shami 3/61 (10)

But TBH Shami is done, huffing and puffing...pot belly and no real venom. But then Shami has a habit of picking up the intensity in important games. So maybe one last Hurrah left in him. So CT and couple of test in England but that's it.

Who is this Arsh Ranga guy..made century against Punjab and played briskly during opening too..

is he young and good if you watched him bat?

Didn't see his batting.

Commentators were praising his shot selection though...while asking to control his emotions as it's a 50 over game and not a 20 over.

Mukesh Kumar too has that.

In Shami's case I can still understand as he maybe close to 37 so tough to maintain fitness if you're not playing. Plus he has achieved a good amount of cricket so maybe the energy is going down. In WC 2023 as well he was getting tired by 7th-8th over of the day.

But Mukesh who is still 31 on paper having such family pack is unacceptable.
