We don't have tall, strongly built bowlers due to genetics. If someone is tall, his body is frail and vice versa.

On the other hand the 4 Aussie pacers and even the pace allrounders are all physical specimen, all of them above 6'3 and built like a tank.

Actually, I went to Kotla in 2023 when we had the BGT, when Cummins came out to bat he was looking like a Giant in front of all the eleven Indian players. He is that big, TV visuals don't really tell the whole story.

My friends brother was a Tamil Nadu Ranji bowler.

He looks strong in real life (video doesnt do justice to how he looks).

He was saying Starcs thighs are literally double the size of his thighs...

Lol

Yeah some of those guys are extremely durable types.

I don't think we lack in producing guys with athletic ability to push 90 mph mark but they can't sustain it as well.

I saw Haris Rauf up close and his torso looked like the trunk a tree. Wahab was even bigger.

We rarely have bowlers who are the complete package.

Umesh Yadav was the closest imo

Mohsin Khan

Yogendra Doyla

Rajvardhan Hangargekar

Gurnoor Brar

Harshit Rana

They all were/are fit and stocky (if that's what you're referring to).

Umesh was the only one who was explosive as well. Rest not so much . But I do have expectations from Mohsin, Brar and Rana
