Ronaldo fans, Messi fans, Federer fans, Nadal fans, Djokovic fans, Kobe fans, Lebron fans. Not to mention the obsession with cinema stars and their personal lives around the world. its fine for fans and media to have celebrity culture, its NOT fine for administration to have celebrity culture. The legions of messi/ronaldo/lebron fans etc. hasnt stopped any of their clubs from benching them or trading them or subbing them out when they are sucking in a given game and while i dont follow football anymore, i would be SHOCKED if La-Ligua is no longer ruthlessly professional and would trade an underperforming 500 million dollar god tier player in like 10 days flat if they could. Same goes for Aussie or the English - especially the english fans being retard level but that doesnt stop ECB from nudging a legend like Anderson to retire. Its the job of BCCI to pick the team for best players possible. Not the fans. its the job of the fans to pretend that their star player is Parashuran avatar and will singlehandedly win every single game. Ok. let them each do their jobs. Not to mention Ronaldo and Kobe Bryant are rapists. How they still have fans is beyond me.. Far too often, Indian men are stereotyped with being creeps. We have to point this out everytime a white or black guy is racist with us. Dumb *ing thing is Indian Ronaldo fans will defend Ronaldo saying "he is too good looking. How can be a rapist when he can get any woman? It's not possible like that." I have seen such fans. .. Rape can also be about power. Dumb *s - this is our chance to tear up their culture. Same goes for Kobe Bryant in black culture. These rapists need to be called out when a white or black person gets racist with us. Atleast we Indians don't fanboy rapists like your culture does. Indians really lack the nuances of defending our culture and going on the attack mode with words. LeBron has been traded at the drop of a hat and will be again if the team wishes. I dont care what ronaldo fans think - he isnt the first rapist to have fans and wont be the last coz he is superstar and everyone does it everywhere. My culture ?? My culture is Indian, not western like you promote with your dumbocrat love. The point was, this is a poor excuse being given to justify BCCI incompetency as being a giga-star doesnt affect management compentency in several other sports. Vicks57 1

Which is also why RW patriots will keep going israel israel israel love love love. Perfectly justified and perfectly in India's interests. Also this is not a thread for your idiot ideological theories. This is for cricket. Just now, Vicks57 said: Your narrative peddling in social media will only increase the hate towards Indians. Stick to helping out people in BAPS temple or ISKON temple.... Uncle. Dont care if it increases hate for indians. I care more about who benefits the Indians than what a bunch of idiot butthurts on social media think. Stick to minding your own business in INdia and stop telling NRIs about politics that you are too idiotic to understand as a foreigner, kiddo.

ash Posted January 6, 2025 Posted January 6, 2025 (edited) One more thing, don’t look out for “talent”, look out for performance in Domestic cricket. Tired of backing players like Gill just because he “looks good”. Both fans and selectors are looking for players pleasing to the eye, who can play perfect straight drive and cover drives, has all shots in the book etc… you end up ignoring players like Sarfraz because they don’t play by the book, even though they have 60+ average in domestic matches.. A player like Smith would have never been picked for India with this attitude.. Edited January 6, 2025 by ash
