For the longest time, Indians believed that if you contribute to economy and stay out of trouble, you are safe and you are welcome in USA That is/was the perception.

 

Everything has been destroyed ever since 2016 Trump took over. MAGA base has entirely taken over the Republican party.

 

First, POC thought MAGA was against illegal immigrants. whats wrong with it? A nation should have borders and they should have a say in it including deportations. But, MAGA and Trump make racist statements on Haitians saying they eat dogs and cats. POC( Including Indian Americans) irrespective of their party affiliations should have stood against those racist remarks. But nothing.

 

Now MAGA is against legal immigration as well taking their frustrations on H1B visas and Indians. Racist caricature of Indians and Indian Culture on X/social media was popular from Arabs and Canada. Now it has infiltration USA social spaces on a political scale.

 

We got white supremacists like Nick Fuentes, Laura Loomer, Leonardo Jonie and even low lives like Myron spewing racist venom against Indians and Vivek Ramaswamy on X.

 

When will MAGA indian Americans realise they are against all legal immigration as well unless they are white and Christian. MAGA espouses 'The Great Replacement Theory'. KKK Klan members and white supremacist groups like Proud Boys aligned with MAGA a long time ago. Actually they are the core base of MAGA.

Let me tell u a little secret that you are too young and stupid to know : social media matters to your chohort. For now. it doenst really matter to my cohort. And its not because we are 'pre internet oldies' - in fact we are the pioneers and the first mass users of social media from IRC/ICQ/MSN/first batch of twitter/facebook etc : the gen x/gen y straddlers like me.

But there is this phenomena called 'aeging out' and by the time mid 30s arrive, most of the cohort ages out of social media. And mid 30s onwards is when people start holding real power in society by and large - thats the min age of those who are in positions of power - administratively and economically- generally are.
So its laughable and cute childishness to us for u to say 'waaa stop saying things that are true on social media coz some people get very angry and racist at the truth'.

Since immigration math tells us that the biggest GROWTH in POC voter base in USA and Canada is via naturalization and not birth ( meaning POC numbers increase due to naturalized citizens MORE than birth of POC to POC citizen parents in USA/Canada), this trend will only continue accelerating the POC vote towards the reds.

No amount of idiot liberal whinings will change this fundamental reality. You can either cope or accept.

Nothing new here. Have been saying to Pravasis and I saw the trend myself for years when I was living abroad. This is coming irrespective of who is in power. Left / Right is bit of distraction beyond a point. Indians / hindus are the only major pagan civilization left that also happens to be the most successful diaspora ( by far ) abroad. Now this was okay till they were willing to hold white man's burden. Now that Indians are replacing the white man in places of power and wealth, there is bound to be a backlash. Plus its also very useful leverage by DS and establishment on Indian govt. 

 

It was the so called MAGA who started this H1B discussion after Sreeram's appointment. But if not MAGA, it would have been left in few years talking about hierarchy and caste system to pull down the Indian elites. 

 

Now its for Indian abroad to decide how they want to engage with their govt and with the mothership. There are many more reality check coming in next few years. As for larger point, this would be lesser of two evils compared to leftist woke idiots coming to power. That has whole different level of ripple effect on India, which as an Indian citizen is my first consideration.
