deepdynamo
Dropping Jaiswal will be CT suicide. He is in red hot form and can win a match or two on his own whoch can be crucial in a short tournament. But then ROKO have other plans BlueBee, raki05, Chalks and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment
singhvivek141
Jaiswal will be in England ODI's. Whether he will play as second opener or sit on bench in CT remains to be seen Rohit, Gill, Jaiswal, Kohli, Shreyas, Hardik, Kuldeep, Shami, Bumrah, Axar, Sundar will be there. Bench will be between Varun C, Nitish, Riyan, Tilak, Siraj, Arshdeep. Jaddu may not play. Link to comment

This is the only format ROhit will play assuming he will get booted out form Tests. Also the PR fiasco will only accelerate things. Link to comment
Sooda
My Ideal squad would build for WC 27 by giving young players tournament experience and saying farewell to some stalwarts Yashasvi Jaiswal Shubman Gill Sai Sudharshan Shreyas Iyer (c) KL Rahul (WK) Hardik Pandya Washington Sundar Axar Patel Kuldeep Yadav Jasprit Bumrah Arshdeep Singh Sai Kishore, Mohammed Siraj, Riyan Parag and /or NKR, Rishabh Pant Yes Iyer captain is a gamble but he's the only long term solution, Bumrah should not be playing random matches, Iyer has good IPL and now domestic experience Edited January 7 by Sooda bowl_out 1 Link to comment

Rohit will hack and in process may score some runs. PR will compare him to Sehwag. Kohli too won't find much movement, so can plonk front foot and do cover drives. Spin is the only challenge. We had a tough time in t20 wc as well. Sharjah is small, traditionally batting friendly. Big hits are common. Abu Dhabi usually pace friendly, but gets flatter as game progress. Dubai one slows down as the match progresses. All this is with condition of no dew. In ODIs we have only 4 fielders from over 10 to 40 outside the 30 yard circle. Gaps are there to rotate strike. Nikhil_cric
Revzsports reported that India is likely to pick 3 spin allrounders - Axar, Jadeja, Sundar- and Kuldeep. God help Indian cricket. No batting allrounders and 4 spinners. Thought RoKo would've learnt their lesson after getting beaten on November 19 by a team that picked only 1 specialist spinner.
